Dr Jatinder Kaur is new health director
Dr Jatinder Kaur on Wednesday took over as the new director, health and family welfare, Punjab.She got elevated to the post after the superannuation of Dr Karanjit Singh.

Dr Jatinder Kaur on Wednesday took over as the new director, health and family welfare, Punjab.She got elevated to the post after the superannuation of Dr Karanjit Singh.
Dr Kaur is an MD (gynaecology and obstetrics). She joined the Punjab Civil Medical Services in 1980 as a medical officer and served on many key positions in Punjab and UT Chandigarh.
She also served at Government Multi-Speciality Hospital, Sector 16, Chandigarh, as a senior gynaecologist; as the medical superintendent of Mata Kaushalya Hospital, Patiala; and the civil surgeon of Patiala and SAS Nagar districts.
