Education minister Daljit Singh Cheema drops for surprise check at PSEB

In view to ongoing Class 10 and 12 board examinations, Dr Daljit Singh Cheema, education minister, Punjab conducted a surprise check in the secrecy branch of Punjab School Education Board, SAS Nagar on late Thursday evening.
During the visit, he was accompanied by Tejinder Kaur Dhaliwal chairperson, Punjab School Education Board, C Raul, principal secretary, school education and Pardeep Kumar Aggarwal, director general, school education.
Cheema checked the branch between 10 to 11 pm and all the staff members were present. The minister has ordered officials for ensuring the declaration of Class 10 and 12 results within the stipulated time period. While expressing satisfaction on the functioning of branch, Cheema said that surprise checks would also be made during table marking as well.
Hailing the initiative of table marking, he ordered to maintain the guidelines in true spirit and manner to make it a success story as it is being done for the first time.
He said that the main objective behind this move was to ensure the declaration of results as early as possible so that the vacant time between result and new academic session could be minimized.
