Hooda said this at his New Delhi residence when the members of Brahmin Samaj, led by assembly speaker Kuldeep Sharma and MLA Venod Sharma, called on him.

Hooda said the land was acquired and also approved by the assembly.

However, since there was no dispute, therefore, a decision was taken to cancel the acquisition of the land, he said.

Necessary legal procedure would be completed in this regard, he added.
