IIT-JEE: Panchkula boy 6th, Jalandhar girl 7th

Panchkula boy Shubham Goel secured all-India sixth rank and Jalandhar’s Aditi stood seventh in the Joint Entrance Examination (advanced) for Indian Institutes of Technology, the result of which was announced on Thursday.

Shubham’s father Ashwini Goel is a Lt colonel posted in Ludhiana. Shubham did Class 10 from Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, and Class 12 from Sri Guru Gobind Singh Collegiate Public School, Chandigarh.

Aditi is the topper among girls in the country. The all-India topper is Rajasthan boy Chitraang Murdia.
