INLD not to tie up with BJP at any cost: Abhay Chautala

Even if Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) pleads for an alliance, the Indian National Lok Dal(INLD) would decline to forge a pact with the saffron party. This was stated by INLD leader and Ellenabad MLA Abhay Singh Chautala in Rewari during the felicitation ceremony of newly-elected Hisar MP Dushyant Chautala on Tuesday.

Training guns at the saffron party, Ellenabad legislator alleged that BJP couldn't be trusted as they stab in the back.

Exhorting the party supporters to brace themselves up for the upcoming assembly polls, he said his party might have won only two seats (Hisar and Sirsa), but there was a surge in vote percentage. He claimed that the party's 25% vote share was up by more than 9%.

Notably, on May 19, the INLD leaders had met BJP national president Rajnath Singh in Delhi and had extended unconditional support of their two newly-elected MPs and two Rajya Sabha MPs to the Modi government.
