Bedi was in the city to release her book titled 'Making of the top cop'. While interacting with the mediapersons on Friday, Bedi said the police should keep a close watch on all religious places and maintain a record of weapons in their possession.

Speaking on the ongoing controversy involving Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) director Ranjit Shina, Bedi said she would have taken voluntarily retirement if she would have been in his place.
