Harpinder, a driver, accused the police of wrongly challaning him on October 15. He alleged that he was challaned by the police for drunken driving even though he had not consumed liquor. However, the police claimed that as per alchometer sensor he was drunk. After Harpinder objected to his challan for drunken driving, the police took him for medical examination which also substantiated his claim that he had not consumed liquor.

The police had impounded his vehicle. Before summoning record, the court directed Harpinder to furnish surety bonds of Rs 7 lakh.
