Min temperatures hover around normal in Punjab, Haryana

The minimum temperatures hovered around normal levels in most parts of the Punjab and Haryana, the MeT department here said on Saturday. In Chandigarh, joint capital of two states, the minimum temperature hovered one notches above normal at 11 degree Celsius, the department reported.

The minimum temperatures hovered around normal levels in most parts of the Punjab and Haryana, the MeT department here said on Saturday.

In Chandigarh, joint capital of two states, the minimum temperature hovered one notches above normal at 11 degree Celsius, the department reported.

Among other places in Punjab, Ludhiana and Patiala settled at 10.3 degrees Celsius each while Amritsar recorded its low at 9.8 degrees Celsius.

In Haryana, Karnal, Hisar and Narnaul minimum temperature was recorded at 8.4 degrees Celsius, 9.5 degrees Celsius and 9 degrees Celsius respectively.

Ambala and Bhiwani settled at 12.9 degrees Celsius and 12 degrees Celsius, up to three notches above normal.
