Municipal Corporation removes 170 encroachments
The enforcement department of Municipal Corporation Chandigarh carried out an anti-encroachment drive in different parts of the city and challaned 170 violators on Tuesday.

The enforcement department of Municipal Corporation Chandigarh carried out an anti-encroachment drive in different parts of the city and challaned 170 violators on Tuesday.
Following the orders of additional commissioner Sarita Malik, the enforcement team removed encroachments by momo and spring roll sellers from the 'verandahas' of different markets.
The team also removed the unauthorised meat and fish sellers from various areas of the markets.
The enforcement team also removed 100 encroachments and seized rehries, pharies table, readymade garments, cylinder, counters, belts, plastic buckets, jackets and blankets from the public land.
