The central committee and district presidents of the PPP resolved to file a petition in the Punjab and Haryana high court to revisit the “judicial murder”.

Bhagat Singh was executed for the murder of British police officer John Saunders in 1928. However, the FIR registered on December 17, 1928, does not identify anyone who had attacked Saunders. The case was registered at Lahore’s Anarkali Chowk police station.
