Rohtak industrial plot allotment scam: HC constitutes 3 member committee to probe case

The Punjab and Haryana high court on Friday constituted a 3-member committee to investigate allotment of 224 industrial plots in Rohtak district of Haryana in 2009. The court has asked the committee to submit its report within 4 months.

The Punjab and Haryana high court on Friday constituted a 3 member committee, consisting of of IAS officers, to investigate allotment of 224 industrial plots in Rohtak district of Haryana in 2009. The court has asked the committee to submit its report within 4 months.

The petitioner had alleged bias and favouritism and involvement of former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, his son and Rohtak MP Deepinder Singh Hooda and a local MLA in plot allotment.
