The convention would focus on deteriorating law and order, increasing police excesses, high incidence of taxes in the state, lackadaisical approach of the police and administration in the Faridkot minor girl kidnapping case and delay by the Centre in the announcement of minimum support price for wheat, an official spokesman said here.

The decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of the Morcha which include People's Party of Punjab, the Communist Party of India, the Communist Party of India (Marxist) and the Akali Dal (Longowal).
