Teenager rapes 5-year-old girl in Kashmir
A five-year-old girl was raped by a teenager in Kashmir's central district of Budgam, police said on Sunday. While the boy (14) was arrested by police, the girl has been shifted to a hospital for treatment where her situation is said to be stable.

Mohammad Aslam, station house officer of Budgam's Magam area, said the girl was raped outside her house in Malmooh village of Magam.
"Actually the boy belongs to another village called Beerwah and had come to visit his relatives who are the victim's neighbours. The girl was playing with the teenager when he took her to the backyard and raped her," Aslam said.
The girl was shifted to Magam hospital for treatment and was later referred to Jhelum Valley College in Srinagar for further treatment.
"The girl has received some stitches but is stable. We have taken the boy into custody," Aslam said.
