The rally is being organised to mark International Women’s Day on March 8. Announcing their collaboration with Delhi and Chandigarh Vintage Club at Chandigarh Press Club, Sector 27, on Monday, the organisers said their aim was to make the event an interesting mix of women liberalisation and vintage beauties.

The message of the rally, however, remains the safety of women on road. Adhering to traffic rules, these women, all holding drivers licenses, would be following the time-speed-distance
(TSD) format for the rally. “The driver of the car has to be a woman, no children are allowed to be seated inside the car, and the number of passengers in one car will be determined by the number of seat belts in the vehicle,” explains the team.
