Haryana development and panchayats minister Devender Singh Babli said that 1,200 libraries equipped with modern facilities will be opened for youth preparing for competitive examinations across the state. Babli on Monday inaugurated an e-library and modern gym at Pirthla, Fatehpuri, Rasulpur, Chandpura, Laluwal and Hindalwala village in Tohana assembly constituency. He said these air-conditioned e-libraries are equipped with all facilities including water, latest computers, smart boards etc. He said that similarly, fitness machines of good quality have been installed in modern gyms.

Haryana govt committed to improve condition of mills

Haryana cooperation minister Banwari Lal said the state government is working on a plan to improve the economic condition of cooperative sugarmills. Kicking off the ethanol sale at 60 KLPD Ethanol Plant, Shahbad Cooperative Sugar Mills Limited, on Monday, the minister said the government has cleared the dues of sugarcane growers associated with the mills. He said the work of making jaggery and sugar has also been started in Palwal, Kaithal and Meham sugar mills and refined sugar at Rohtak Sugar Mills, which will lead to more income for the mills.
