: Seven students of a government primary school sustained injuries when they fell on a road after the boundary wall of the building’s terrace, where they were standing to watch a religious procession, collapsed in Taraori area of Karnal district, police said on Saturday.
7 students injured as school wall collapses in Karnal
The students of Sanskriti Primary School, Taraori were studying in the sun on the roof of the school due to cold weather and gathered at the boundary wall to watch the procession when it neared the school. As several students gathered at one spot on the wall, it collapsed.
The injured students, some of whom suffered head injuries, were rushed to hospital with the help of locals. Their condition was stated to be stable.
The injured students have been identified as Meet, Nihal, Durgash Kumar, Radhika, Anjali, Damini and Navnay.
