After sunny weather on Wednesday, maximum temperature rose from 33.8 degrees on Tuesday to 36.5 °C, still 0.4 °C below normal. Even as an active Western Disturbance (WD) is active over the region, no rain was recorded in the city as per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), chances of rain will continue on Thursday as per the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
As per officials, two WDs will affect the region and while the current WD is still active over the region, another WD will affect the region over the weekend.
Minimum temperature also fell from 24.8 °C on Tuesday to 21 degrees on Wednesday, 1.4 °C below normal. In the next three days, maximum temperature will remain between 36 °C and 38 °C while minimum temperature will remain around 20 °C.
