Chandigarh: Nominations filed for UTCA elections

Outing UTCA president Sanjay Tandon’s son Saaransh Tandon has filed his nomination for the post of president while Hari Singh Khurana has submitted his nomination for secretary general

The candidates for the upcoming general elections of the Union Territory Cricket Association (UTCA) for the next three-year term 2025–26, 2026–27 and 2027–28 filed their nominations at the UTCA Office, Sector 16 Cricket Stadium on Sunday. The UTCA elections are scheduled to be held on October 26.

The nomination process was conducted under the supervision of Maninder Singh Bains (IAS). Outing UTCA president Sanjay Tandon’s son Saaransh Tandon has filed his nomination for the post of president while Hari Singh Khurana has submitted his nomination for secretary general.

Sanjay Daniel Banerjee has filed for the position of vice-president, Rahul Talwar for joint secretary and Alok Krishan for treasurer. Meanwhile, Vinay Grover has filed his nomination for the Apex Council member post.

For the Governor Council (CPL) positions, Pawan Kumar Mutneja and Ravinder Singh have submitted their nominations. Tandon was appointed UTCA chief back in 2019.
