Srinagar A Pakistani militant, affiliated with proscribed terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), was killed in an encounter with security forces in the forests of Sopore in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.

While Hanzalla of Lahore was killed in the gunfight with security forces, three terrorists, two foreign and one local managed to escape. Inspector general of police (IGP), Kashmir zone, Vijay Kumar said an AK rifle, five magazines and ammunition was recovered from him.
Suspected terrorist held with IED in Doda
A suspected terrorist was arrested with an improvised explosive device from his house in Doda district on Monday.
The arrest and recovery of the IED followed busting of a module run by local Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist Mohammad Amin alias “Khubaib”, who is presently operating from Pakistan.
The accused, Irshad Ahmad, was arrested during a joint search operation by police, army and CRPF in Dhandal-Kastigarh area of Doda, additional director general of police, Jammu zone, Mukesh Singh said.
