Panchkula mayor Kulbhushan Goyal held a meeting of deputy municipal commissioner Deepak Sura, chief sanitation inspector Avinash Singla, committee member councillor Sunit Singla and head of Bezubaan Sanstha Shaurya Gilhotra regarding the same.

Goyal said work on sterilisation would be accelerated with immediate effect, with Singla adding that the Bezuban organisation has been asked to sterilise as many dogs as possible.

Notably, the sterilisation work was not being carried out in recent months, which had led to the increase in the number of stray dogs.
