The meeting will be held at the chief minister’s residence at 11 am. A notice issued on Thursday by the ministerial affairs branch of the general administration department stated that the agenda will be issued later.

The council of ministers is expected to deliberate on the schedule for the budget session of the Punjab vidhan sabha. The budget for the 2026-27 financial year – the last of the present Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab – is likely to be presented in the second week of the month. Last year, the state government presented the budget for 2025-26 fiscal on March 26.
