Two brothers electrocuted to death in Hisar
A spokesman of Hansi police said that the incident took place when a mason asked Ravi to spray water on the walls of his under-construction house
: Two brothers were electrocuted to death and three others suffered burn injuries when they came in contact with high voltage transmission line passing near their house in Mundhal Khurad village in Hisar, police said on Monday.
The deceased have been identified as Ravi, 22, and his brother Amit Kumar, 30. The incident happened on Sunday.
A spokesman of Hansi police said that the incident took place when a mason asked Ravi to spray water on the walls of his under-construction house.
“When he was spraying water while standing on the walls of the under-constructed house, he came in contact with high voltage transmission line passing near his house. Amit tried to rescue him, but he also came in contact with the wires. Three others tried to rescue the duo and suffered burn injuries. Both the brothers died during treatment, while others are undergoing treatment at civil hospital in Hansi. A case has been registered under section 174 of the CrPc,” the spokesman added.
