Two cops hurt as Haryana deputy CM’s cavalcade hits stray cattle near Kurukshetra

Two police personnel deputed in the security of deputy chief minister Dushyant Chautala were injured after a vehicle of his cavalcade hit stray cattle near Bherian village in Kurukshetra’s Pehowa town on Wednesday.

As per information, the accident took place around 10 am on the Chandigarh-Hisar NH-152, when a stray cattle suddenly came in front of a PCR vehicle in the cavalcade and another vehicle hit it from behind.

Kurukshetra superintendent of police (SP) Surinder Singh Bhoria said the cops sustained minor injuries and were discharged after first-aid.

Later, the deputy CM proceeded for his scheduled programme at Uchana Kalan, where he was to address a gathering to extend the invitation of Jannayak Janta Party’s December 9 rally in Bhiwani to mark the party’s fifth Foundation Day.
