Three men were arrested and a minor was apprehended in two separate snatching cases, police said on Wednesday.
In the first incident, the anti-snatching cell of the Delhi Police in the southwest district had caught Sunil, 27, and Pramod, 32, after they had snatched a mobile phone from a taxi driver near a CNG pump while riding towards Dhaula Kuan, police said. Two additional stolen phones were recovered during the investigation. Police said Pramod has four previous criminal cases registered against him.
In the second incident registered at Kapashera police station, police arrested Jitender Dhube, 36, and apprehended a 17-year-old boy for allegedly snatched a mobile phone on July 17, police said, adding that five phones were recovered from them. Both motorcycles allegedly used in the offences were also recovered, police added.
