New Delhi:The Delhi BJP on Thursday staged a protest outside the AAP office near Mandi House, demanding resignation of the Punjab education minister over alleged exam paper leaks in the state.

The protest, led by Delhi BJP president Harsh Malhotra, took place outside the AAP headquarters at Ferozshah Road. The BJP leaders alleged that six examination papers had been leaked during the government’s four-and-a-half-year-old tenure in the state.

A clash broke out between the police and BJP workers when barricades placed near the AAP office were removed.

AAP Delhi chief Saurabh Bhardwaj said, “Delhi Police should register an FIR against BJP state president and use facial recognition to see how many of them had criminal antecedents.”

Recently, AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal said no paper leaks have taken place in Punjab under the party’s government. He added that some students at two centres tried to cheat using digital pens but were immediately caught.

The AAP had backed the recent Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest at Jantar Mantar which demanded resignation of Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged NEET paper leak.
