The Delhi government is likely to table its Economic Survey report for 2025–26 during the budget session next month, officials aware of the matter said on Wednesday.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government had not tabled the Economic Survey last year.
“This time, the Economic Survey will be tabled in the Delhi Assembly a day before the presentation of the state budget. The finance department last month asked departments to submit updated data and indicators on growth and achievements related to Delhi’s economic, social and financial scenario for inclusion in the Economic Survey of Delhi, 2025–26,” said an official, requesting anonymity.
The official said several departments are yet to submit the data sought by the finance department.
“The departments were given a deadline of January 29, but data is still awaited from some. Work is underway and a draft will be finalised. It will then be sent to the Chief Minister’s Office for approval,” another official said.
The presentation of the Economic Survey in the Delhi Assembly is a time-bound exercise, the official added. The Budget session of the Delhi Assembly is likely to be held after March 15.
