New Delhi: Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) will begin offline registration for the Monsoon Semester 2026 for continuing students of the 2026–27 academic session on July 6.

Students must pay the prescribed fees at registration.“Registration will commence from July 6 and continue till July 13. Registration after July 13 will attract late fee. Students will be allowed to add and drop courses till July 31,” the university stated in a circular earlier this week.
Students who are unable to register within the deadline due to valid reasons may apply for late registration, which will be considered on a case-by-case basis, the university said.
The Academic Bank of Credit (ABC)/APAAR ID is a mandatory for registration for students enrolled from the 2021–22 academic session onwards, in compliance with University Grants Commission (UGC) norms.
The circular said students must clear all pending dues, including hostel fees, which will continue to be charged at the existing rates as the revised hostel charges are pending before the Delhi High Court since 2020. The revised charges will be implemented after the court’s decision.
