A 34-year-old man cab driver was arrested on Thursday for sexually harassing and outraging the modesty of another woman cab driver at a charging station in Sector 29, said police officials aware of the matter.

The victim is a cab driver from Delhi, while the suspect, who hails from Parsa in Madhubani district of Bihar, has been identified as a resident of Nathupur, DLF Phase-3.
The incident took place around 2 am on Wednesday when the woman had stopped at the station to charge her electric cab.
According to police, citing the victim’s complaint, the suspect was sitting in the driver’s seat of a cab standing next to the victim’s vehicle. She has alleged that he was watching a “obscene” video and had deliberately kept the screen pointed towards her.
Sandeep Turan, Gurugram police public relations officer, said that the victim managed to record a video of the incident on her phone. “In the video, the suspect could be seen watching an obscene video on his phone and looking towards the woman repeatedly,” he said.
HT had not independently verified the contents of the video.
The victim told police she had even raised the matter with the employees of the station but they did not take any action.
On the basis of a complaint filed by the woman about the incident at DLF police station in Sector-29 on Thursday morning, an FIR was registered under section 75(2) (sexual harassment) and 79 (word, gesture or act intended to insult modesty of a woman) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita against the suspect.
He was arrested from the DLF Phase-III area on Thursday evening.
