3 killed in road mishap in Hardoi
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath condoled the death of the motorcyclists and directed the district magistrate and superintendent of police to rush to the spot and carry out relief and rescue operation.
Three men riding on a motorcycle were killed after an unidentified vehicle hit them under Pihani police station limits of Hardoi district on Sunday morning, police said.

Police officials said, the deceased were identified as Raj Kumar Kushwaha, Bablu Kushwaha and Sanjay Kushwaha, all residents of Raipur, a hamlet of Jareli village. All three worked as masons.
The police said the incident took place when the motorcyclists were returning home after overnight construction work in Jahani Khera. They said the condition of the bodies suggested that they were hit by some heavy vehicle near Pandrava village around 5am.
Police officials said the low visibility on the road due to mist and fog in the region in the early hours in the morning apparently led to the accident. They said the bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination and their family members have been informed after ascertaining their identities through Aadhar card from their belongings. The police officials said an FIR for reckless driving and causing death due to negligence has been lodged against unidentified driver. The police are scanning video footages to trace the culprits.
