Central Railway's Chief Public Relations Officer Swapnil Nila said the affected coach has been re-railed and traffic on the affected slow line has resumed.

Railway officials said a probe led by senior divisional safety officer has been ordered in the derailment that occurred on a crossover point near Dombivli station.

Another official said ARTs were immediately rushed to the site from the Kalyan, Kurla and Kalwa car sheds.

According to the officials, the suburban services on the Main Line were 25 to 30 minutes late till late afternoon and as a result passengers faced a tough time.
