The DSC Road in Noida is a key connecting road linking various industrial and commercial areas, including NSEZ, Phase-II, Sectors 80 and 81, and the Hosiery Complex, as well as several residential areas.

“Every day, thousands of people, including office-goers and workers at industrial units, use this road. It is also a key entry point to the area. However, the stretch from Irrigation Canal to the Kulesara Bridge remains highly congested. It was found that due to heavy traffic from the elevated road, traffic jams occur on this road,” said SP Singh, general manager of the Noida Authority.

To streamline traffic management and improve citizen amenities, the entire road will be developed as a model road. There is also a proposal to build the stretch from Sector 79 T-Point to DSC Road as a model road.

The Authority said the proposed irrigation canal-to-Kulesara bridge project is estimated to cost around 15 crore, with around 10 crore for the stretch from Sector 79 T-Point to DSC Road. The Authority, Singh said, aims to finish the work in next six months.
