UP: Wall collapses on tin shed in Farrukhabad; man killed, wife and son injured

Kanpur: A 28-year-old man was killed and his wife and son were injured after a wall adjoining their house collapsed onto their tin shed on Friday morning in the Sadhwada locality of Uttar Pradesh’s Farrukhabad, police said.

Following the incident, police and revenue officials reached the site and carried out an inspection. (Representative photo)

According to the police, Sahil Saad was sleeping with his wife, Hansa, and son, Aman. “Around 6 am on Friday, a wall adjoining their house collapsed, crushing the tin shed beneath which the family was sleeping. Sahil died on the spot, while Hansa and Aman have been admitted to hospital for treatment,” an officer said.

Following the incident, police and revenue officials reached the site and carried out an inspection.
