An 11-year-old boy was killed in Bihar’s Supaul district on Friday when two groups allegedly clashed over a property dispute, police said, adding the accused were absconding.

The incident took place in Sukhasan village when the boy came in the middle of the clash between two groups over the ownership of a 16-acre land.
“Rajendra Sah and Vilas Sah of the same village have been claiming ownership over the land,” a senior police officer said, on the condition of anonymity.
“On Friday, groups led by the two villagers clashed with each other and the boy, son of Rajendra Sah, was beaten by people from the opposing side.” The boy died on the way to the hospital, station house officer (SHO), Kishunganj police station, Mehboob Alam said.
“Police have launched a manhunt to nab the accused, who absconded after the clash,” the SHO added.
