Over 30 IAS officers transferred in major Bihar reshuffle

Among the prominent officers, Mayank Warwade, a 2001 batch IAS officer, has been made secretary, planning and development department with additional charge of enquiry commissioner, general administration department.

In an administrative reshuffle, over 30 IAS officers were shifted with some of the officers given additional charge of departments as per the notification issued by the general administration department on Friday evening.

Among the prominent officers, Mayank Warwade, a 2001 batch IAS officer, has been made secretary, planning and development department with additional charge of enquiry commissioner, general administration department. Warwede was holding the post of project director, Bihar education project council. Dharmendra Kumar, a 2013 batch IAS, has been made director, social security directorate.

Navin Kumar Singh, a 2013 batch officer, been made director, panchayat raj department , He was holding the post of additional secretary , social welfare department. Many other officers including a dew deputy development commissioners (DDCs) have been given new posting in the departments in the state secretariat, as per the notification,
