Cloudy weather to continue till March 15, temperature set to increase in Pune

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), night and day temperatures are set to increase in the next few days

Anupam Kashyapi, head of the weather forecasting department at IMD Pune, said that cloudy weather in the city may continue till March 15.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), night and day temperatures are set to increase in the next few days.

On Wednesday, the day temperature reported was 33.4 degrees Celsius which was 1.6 degrees cooler than normal and night temperature was 18.3 degrees Celsius which was 3.5 degrees Celsius warmer than normal.

“Day and night temperatures will be on the higher side. There are also chances of light to very light rainfall and cloudy weather in the city till March 11. The day temperature is likely to be around 34 degrees Celsius and the night temperature will be higher than 18 degrees Celsius during these next few days. Partly cloudy sky along with thundery activity, lightning and very light rainfall is likely till March 11,” said Kashyapi.

He added that northern central Maharashtra and Marathwada are likely to receive light to very light rainfall along with thunderstorms and lighting till March 10.

“After that most parts of the state are likely to remain dry,” said Kashyapi.
