Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray launched the new online learning license scheme to get licenses easily, however, an applicant was shocked after he received a learning license with a photo of a girl on it.

Ashish Chede had applied for the learning license test on Monday through the online scheme and faced this issue.

“It is an excellent scheme for everyone to get the learning license through online mode and very user friendly too. When I logged into the website it was working fine, but when I got my license instead of my photo there was photo of another girl on it. I was shocked to look at it and then I rushed to the RTO office to change it,” said Ashish who is a first-year interior designing student.

This new scheme was launched on Monday by the state government, and as a part of this Ashish logged in to the given website on Monday to get the learning license. He had uploaded the scanned copy of his Aadhaar Card and PAN Card on the Parivahan Sewa website and paid ₹365 for the test and appeared for it. His test result was 9 of 15.

Talking about the issue deputy regional transport officer Sanjay Sasane said, “We will check this matter, as the data is taken from Aadhar portal. Something linked with Aadhar must have gone wrong. We will investigate the case and resolve the issue.”
