To keep pace with the city’s rapid expansion, the Pimpri-Chinchwad police commissionerate has initiated a proposal to establish five additional police stations in fast-developing areas, aiming to improve law enforcement reach and emergency response.

Police commissioner Vinoy Kumar Choubey has submitted the plan to the Maharashtra Director General of Police for necessary approvals.
The proposed locations include Pirangut, Jambe, Pimple Saudagar, Moshi and Dehu Gaon.
These areas have seen considerable growth in population and infrastructure, leading to increased demand for more accessible policing services.
The expansion is expected to improve response efficiency, strengthen surveillance, and make policing more accessible to residents.
