Pune civic body postpones water cut

Pune Municipal Corporation postpones Thursday's water cut due to ongoing strike by water tanker operators, ensuring regular water supply.

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has postponed the water cut planned on Thursday considering the ongoing strike of water tanker operators.

The PMC water department on Wednesday issued a press statement which read, “As the water tanker operators strike is going on, the civic body decided to postpone its scheduled maintenance work and there would be no water cut on Thursday. The city will get a regular water supply.”
