Spa manager arrested for running prostitution racket in Hadapsar

The city police’s crime branch busted a prostitution racket operating under the guise of a spa in Hadapsar and arrested the manager while rescuing three young women on Friday.
The raid was conducted at White Pearl Spa, located in Dashmesh Complex near the Hadapsar Gadi Tal area. The accused has been identified as Saurabh Shamrao Ingale, 28, a resident of Kalepadal in Hadapsar.
Acting on a tip-off, the crime branch’s immoral traffic (prevention) cell verified the information by sending a decoy customer to the spa. After confirming that women were being brought to the premises and forced into prostitution, the team conducted a raid and caught Ingale red-handed, police said.
A case has been registered against the accused under the provisions of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act at the Hadapsar police station.
