Team India will return to action in T20Is with a blockbuster clash against arch-rivals Pakistan in the men's Asia Cup. Leading Indian batters like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are set to return to action in the game, as India aim to put past the 10-wicket defeat in their previous encounter against Pakistan last year – that came at the same venue (Dubai). On an individual level, however, captain Rohit will also be eyeing a massive feat in the continental tournament.

After their match against India, the side will meet Hong Kong in the second and final game of the tournament on August 31. The top-2 teams from the group will then take part in the Super Four round, playing the other three sides for a place in the final.

The other group (Group B) consists of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. The Dasun Shanka-led side will meet Afghanistan in the curtain-raiser of the tournament on Saturday.
