A division bench comprising Justice Pinaki Ghosh and Justice SP Mitra is likely to hear the appeal against Justice Indira Banerjee's July 20 order on a later date.

Justice Banerjee had stayed the BCCI disciplinary committee's decision to expel Dalmiya for alleged financial misappropriation.

The court had also allowed Dalmiya to contest any election of BCCI and its affiliate bodies.

Dalmiya had, however, chosen not to contest the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) polls despite the July 20 order.
