Virat Kohli has the admiration and support of millions of cricket followers across the globe and one of his biggest fans happens to be the 10-year old son of former Australian fast bowler Brett Lee.
Brett Lee, who has been one of the most successful pacer of all time, is in Chennai to promote the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL). Brett Lee, who is also a known admirer of Kohli, revealed that his son too share similar sentiments.
“My 10-year-old son’s favourite batsman is Virat Kohli. Once, when Kohli walked past me and we shook hands, I told him that you are my son’s favourite batsman. Kohli showed a great gesture when he gave my son one of his Test shirts signed – with best wishes, Kohli,” said Lee speaking at the Tamil Nadu Premier League event.
Lee has also compared Kohli to the legendary Sachin Tendulkar on a few occasions, and loves the Indian skipper’s aggressive and passionate playing style.
