Congress CMs creating hurdles: BCCI sources

In the latest twist to the IPL scheduling saga, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra Govts have backtracked on their IPL commitments with BCCI. Sources from the Cricket body have accused the Congress-led state governments of creating hurdles, according to TV reports. Earlier, IPL chief Lalit Modi said IPL match dates with all back-up options were ready for the IPL second edition. He added that it's up to the Govt to give the final clearance. The final schedule are likely to be announced on Sunday after BCCI meeting.

Earlier, IPL chief Lalit Modi said there was no question on truncating IPL fixtures with all back-up options were ready for the IPL second edition. He added that it's up the government to give the final clearance. The final schedule are likely to be announced on Sunday after BCCI meeting.

The states had earlier given green signals for the IPL matches.
