The game, in which mobile users anywhere in India can participate by predicting the outcome of all the six deliveries of an over, commences during the high-octane encounter between India and Pakistan in Centurion on Saturday, stated a release from iPlayup, the company which operates the game.

The SMS game, which evoked strong criticism for allegedly promoting gambling among spectators, was withdrawn from IPL-II after Union Sports Minister MS Gill and former cricketers denounced it.

Meanwhile, former Australia skipper Steve Waugh came out in support of the mobile game.

"6UP is going to add something for the spectator watching the game. It's interactive, it's fun and it's about playing against someone else and testing your skill," Waugh said.
