The Sunrisers Hyderabad captain, who previously played for Delhi Daredevils, obliged fans requesting photographs to the annoyance of his daughter, all of which was captured in video and posted to Twitter by Candice.
In the video, Ivy initially tries to persuade Warner to keep walking but then staggers off by herself when she sees him surrounded. The little one eventually strolls off realizing her attempts are futile and tosses a mint that she was chewing to show her displeasure.
Candice uploaded the video with the caption: “When @davidwarner31 steps out of the hotel and tries to take Ivy for a walk, next minute. #FANLOVE #bangalore”
The 2015 IPL top run-getter saw the humour in the situation and retweeted that the adulation had caused his daughter to lose her tic tac.
Despite all the talk about the importance of the second Test at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Warner seemed relaxed in the video. He even helped one fan click a selfie when the latter’s phone seemed to fail him at the prime moment.
India began the second Test against Australia on Saturday. Skipper Virat Kohli opted to put his team in to bat first having won the toss.
