"He told the physiotherapist (South African Evan Speechly) that he is unwell and that's the reason he did not come for the practice," senior teammate VVS Laxman told reporters at the mandatory match-eve media conference at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

"Please ask the physio," replied Laxman when queried whether Dhoni would play in the final match of the three-Test rubber in which the hosts have taken an unassailable 2-0 lead. India have an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.
