Meanwhile, India C ended Day 1 at 91/4 in 33 overs, and trail by 73 runs at the Rural Development Trust Stadium in Anantapur. In response to India D's 164, Baba Indrajith (15*) and Abishek Porel (32*) remained unbeaten as India C stuttered to 91/4 in 33 overs. For India D, Axar Patel and Harshit Rana bagged two-wicket hauls respectively.

Meanwhile, India D crumbled for 164 in 48.3 overs, with Axar hammering a battling knock of 86 runs off 118 balls, consisting of six fours and six sixes. For India C, Vyshak Vijay Kumar bagged three wickets.
