After bundling out the Aussies on 125, England closed the contest in just 11.4 overs with Jos Buttler leading the chase with the bat. Buttler finished the contest unbeaten on 71 off 32 balls, which included five fours and the same number of maximums. Earlier in the evening after being invited to bat first, the Aussies got off to a terrible start with Chris Woakes wreaking havoc with the new ball. Australian skipper Aaron Finch, who managed to fetch 44 of 49 balls, emerged as the leading run-scorer from his side.
