After playing a key role in Deccan Chargers’ victory over Rajasthan Royals, veteran Sri Lankan pacer Chaminda Vaas said he has showed that he can be equally good in T20 cricket.
Vaas, who was warming the bench in the IPL so far, made a sensational start with two crucial blows upfront from where the Royals could never recover.
The medium-pacer took two wickets in his first two overs and also contributed 20 runs off 15 balls to give a late thrust to the Chargers innings. Vaas said it was his experience that helped him bowl well despite a long lay-off.
