The ICC Chief Executives' Committee (CEC), which meets in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday and Wednesday, is going to discuss the trialling of an umpire's decision review system, an effort to curb umpiring blunders, during the England-South Africa Test series to be played in England in July-August.

The CEC will also discuss format of the 2011 World Cup and the situation arising out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the Indian Cricket League (ICL), among other issues, in the two-day meeting.

"CEC will review a proposal prepared by ICC management on the use of technology in decision-making. The proposal has been produced following directions from the ICC Cricket Committee and suggests the trialling of an 'umpire decision review system' during the England versus South Africa Test series to be played in England in July/August 2008," the ICC said in a statement on Sunday.
